CCSO Solar is a solar energy company that designs and installs solar power systems for your individual needs
to give significant savings on high electricity costs and beat untimely power interruptions as well as load shedding. As a certified PV GreenCard installer, our installations comply with the highest standards regarding safety, quality, and reliability. We have been installing solar systems since 2019 and will help you choose solar panels, an inverter, and batteries to generate solar power cost-effectively.
History
CCSO Consulting (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2014 with the primary focus on business improvement consulting. Being passionate about renewable energy, the owner, Rudolph Kotzé, has been involved with solar since 2014. In 2019, the company diversified its services to include solar energy and started trading as CCSO Solar. Underscoring the company’s commitment to knowledge expansion, the owner of CCSO Solar also serves as a part-time lecturer at Green Solar Academy, one of South Africa’s largest solar training networks.

Rudolph is the driving force behind CCSO Solar’s system designs. With over 30 years of experience in engineering and consulting, he’s passionate about crafting innovative and effective solar solutions. He’s hands-on with every project, making sure each installation delivers top-tier performance and quality.

Johan brings over two decades of electrical expertise to our installations. As a trusted contractor running his own successful business (JHP Nel Electrical), he ensures every project meets strict safety and compliance standards. His precision and problem-solving make him a key part of our success.
Alicia van Heerden
Client Services, Procurement & Social Media
Alicia is the friendly voice that guides clients from their first contact to the final handover. She coordinates equipment orders, keeps clients informed, and shares our solar stories online. Since she joined the team in February 2025, her warmth and efficiency make every project feel personal..

Installation Administration, Finances and Health & Safety
Rochelle is our behind-the-scenes powerhouse. She handles installation paperwork, invoicing, and health & safety with care and precision. As of August 2022, when she joined the team, her attention to detail ensures that every client receives a complete and professional handover document.

Installer and Installation Preparation
Wihan ensures that every installation gets off to the right start. He preps gear, manages site readiness, and handles safety checks. While studying to become an electrician, he’s been a vital part of our hands-on team since May 2023.

The Owner
Rudolph Kotzé, the driving force behind CCSO Solar, has more than 30 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, plant manager and business improvement consultant. Being passionate about renewable energy, he has been involved with solar since 2014.
Underscoring his dedication to expanding knowledge and expertise, Rudolph is also a part-time lecturer at Green Solar Academy, a leading solar training provider for the PV industry in South Africa.

Where is CCSO Solar Situated?
CCSO Solar’s office is located in Sasolburg. Our office serves as a base for our team from where we plan and coordinate our installations.
Can I visit CCSO Solar?
As we are not a reseller of solar equipment, we do not have a shop front. We always arrange for a site visit when a client expresses interest in proceeding with an installation after receiving the detailed design.
For how long has CCSO Solar been installing solar systems?
Driven by a passion for sustainable energy solutions, the owner and founder have been experimenting with solar installations since 2014. In 2019, CCSO Solar was officially established as a solar installation business as we began offering our expertise to the public, providing professional and tailored solar solutions that empower individuals and businesses to harness the full potential of renewable energy.

PV GreenCard is the leading quality assurance standard and training programme for solar photovoltaic installers in South Africa. The owner/design engineer of CCSO Solar, who is also personally involved in every system installation, is certified as a PV GreenCard installer.
