CCSO was founded in 2014 as a Business Improvement Consulting company with a strong focus on operational efficiency and client-driven solutions. In 2019, we transitioned fully to solar energy. For the past six years, we have applied our consulting and engineering expertise to designing and implementing custom solar solutions with precision, reliability, and lasting performance.

Owner and Design Engineer
Rudolph is the driving force behind CCSO Solar’s system designs. With over 30 years of experience in engineering and consulting, he’s passionate about crafting innovative and effective solar solutions. He’s hands-on with every project, making sure each installation delivers top-tier performance and quality.

Alicia is the friendly voice that guides clients from their first contact to the final handover. She coordinates equipment orders, keeps clients informed, and shares our solar stories online. Since she joined the team in February 2025, her warmth and efficiency make every project feel personal..

Rochelle is our behind-the-scenes powerhouse. She handles installation paperwork, invoicing, and health & safety with care and precision. As of August 2022, when she joined the team, her attention to detail ensures that every client receives a complete and professional handover document.

Wihan ensures that every installation gets off to the right start. He preps gear, manages site readiness, and handles safety checks. While studying to become an electrician, he’s been a vital part of our hands-on team since May 2023.

The Owner
Rudolph Kotzé, the driving force behind CCSO Solar, brings over 30 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, plant manager, and business improvement consultant. His passion for renewables led him to explore solar energy since 2014. By 2019, he had transitioned the business to focus entirely on solar, turning a personal interest into a professional commitment.
What sets CCSO Solar apart is Rudolph’s direct involvement in every project. From the first handshake to the final handover, he is fully invested, fully accountable, and fully committed to delivering excellence. His engineering expertise and meticulous attention to detail shape every step of the process, ensuring that every system is designed with precision and care.
Rudolph personally meets with every client on-site, regardless of project size, to tailor each solution to the client’s energy needs, site layout, infrastructure, and site-specific conditions. Clients don’t just benefit from his knowledge; they work directly with the person who sets the standard.

Where is CCSO Solar Situated?
CCSO Solar’s office is located in Sasolburg. Our office serves as a base for our team from where we plan and coordinate our installations.
Can I visit CCSO Solar?
As we are not a reseller of solar equipment, we do not have a shop front, and are not set up for walk-in customers. However, visits can be arranged by appointment. We always schedule an on-site consultation once a client expresses interest in moving forward after receiving their detailed system design.
For how long has CCSO Solar been installing solar systems?
Driven by a passion for sustainable energy, the owner began exploring solar in 2014. In 2019, CCSO Solar was officially established as a dedicated Solar Design and Installation Company, delivering professional, tailored solar solutions that empower individuals, farmers and businesses to harness the full potential of renewable energy.

Yes, CCSO Solar is a PV GreenCard–certified solar installer Company. Both the owner/design engineer, who is personally involved in every project, and one of our skilled rooftop installers are certified PV GreenCard installers. CCSO Solar is also affiliated with SAPVIA (South African Photovoltaic Industry Association), which promotes industry standards, responsible solar development, and best practices across the sector. What is PV GreenCard and SAPVIA?
PV GreenCard is South Africa’s nationally recognised certification and quality assurance programme for solar PV installations. Developed by SAPVIA (South African Photovoltaic Industry Association), it ensures that certified installers are properly trained, follow national and municipal electrical regulations, and deliver safe and compliant systems.
